Meditation Events
Take a journey inwards through meditation and feel relaxed and rejuvenated. As a hugely beneficial life skill, meditation clears the mind, relaxes the body and soothes the nervous system.
Those of you who know me, know that I’m a huge advocate for meditation. Every time we meditate we are self-healing. As well as slowing down the brain waves and reducing the cortisol levels in the brain, meditation reminds us of who we are. Meditation also helps us to get into the receptive mode and re-program the subconscious mind. These things are super powerful.
Meditation helps to open the third eye (our 6th Chakra between our eyebrows) which is the energy centre of clear-sightedness. We may become more intuitive and reach conclusions more easily, and we will get more creative ideas and ‘downloads’ from the universe. Meditation can help with things like brain fog, anxiety and sleep.
Monthly Meditation & Picnic in the Gardens
Join us at the beautiful Botanical Gardens for a New Moon meditation followed by a talk by a guest speaker.
After the meditation (which will start at 10 am), we have a guest speaker. After the talk we will have a social picnic.
Day: Sunday January 2025 (date TBC)
Time: 9.30 am – 1.00 pm
Place: Benowa Botanical Gardens, Gold Coast
How to find us: Look for the first picnic table in the picnic area, halfway around the lake (from the entrance) and we will be just a few metres from the rose garden.
Cost: By voluntary donation: $5 (suggested optional donation)
After a healing meditation, we will exchange conscious conversation. This week’s theme is Deliberate Creation.
What to bring: a plate to share (preferably vegetarian or vegan), OR bring some fruit or nibbles, a folding chair, picnic blanket or yoga mat to sit on and water to stay hydrated. A donation is appreciated. If you are interested in being a guest speaker in 2025 please let me know.
